Graha Padma fly over bridge is a concrete bridge that uses type I girders. The shape of the girder resembles the letter
I and is reinforced by using prestressed tendons, making this bridge an alternative design for highway bridges / fly
overs. To implement it, it is necessary to have a careful design study on the bridge.
In this study, a review of the response of the bridge structure to static loading was carried out which included
deflection, normal force, bending moment and stress. Associated with the loading of the bridge for PCI (Prestress
Concrete type I)-Girder itself consists of the weight of the own load, the weight of the additional dead load, the weight
of the live load, the earthquake load, the weight of the wind load caused by the vehicle and the load due to the braking
force of the vehicle. The reference used in the design of the flyover/fly over Graha Padma is based on the applicable
regulations in the design of highway bridge structures, including the following: RSNI T-02-2005 Loading for Bridges,
RSNI2 1725 : 2012 Loading for Bridges, Bridges Management System 1992 (BMS 1992).
The purpose of this study is to obtain effective, efficient and robust design results with correct analytical calculations
in accordance with applicable rules.
